About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VeykHostAgent, a private beta product operated by Daystrom Inc. ("Daystrom," "we," "our," or "us"), a company incorporated in Canada. VeykHostAgent is accessible at veykhostagent.ai and veykhostagent.com, including the builder at veykhostagent.ai/builder and any websites you generate and deploy through the builder.

VeykHostAgent is a software tool that helps vacation rental operators create marketing websites for their properties. VeykHostAgent does not accept guest bookings, process reservations, integrate with property management systems or channel managers, or handle payment data for guest stays. Nothing in these Terms should be read to govern booking, reservation, or guest-payment activities, because we do not offer those services.

By accessing VeykHostAgent, creating an account, joining the early-access waitlist, or using any site generated by VeykHostAgent as an operator, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use VeykHostAgent.

Because VeykHostAgent is currently in private beta, these Terms are beta Terms. Features, pricing, and the scope of the service may change during beta. When they change materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active account holders by email.

Who can use VeykHostAgent

You may use VeykHostAgent only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
  • You have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
  • You are not barred from using VeykHostAgent under the laws of Canada, the United States, or any other jurisdiction that applies to you.
  • You have received a beta invitation from us, or have been approved from the early-access waitlist.

VeykHostAgent is not directed to children. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 16 to create an account.

Your account

When you create a VeykHostAgent account, you are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the information you provide, including your email address.
  • Keeping your account credentials (including magic-link tokens and single-click sign-in links) confidential.
  • All activity that occurs under your account, including activity by anyone you allow to use it.
  • Promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised, by emailing federation@landcgreen.ca.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe it has been compromised, is being used in violation of these Terms, or is being used to abuse the service.

Your content and the sites we generate

VeykHostAgent helps you create website content from information you provide — property descriptions, photos, voice and text input, amenities, locations, pricing information, and anything else you choose to supply. There are two distinct categories of content in VeykHostAgent, and they have different ownership rules:

  • "Your Materials" means everything you provide to us: photos, voice recordings, property descriptions, text input, amenity lists, pricing information, and any other information you supply to the builder.
  • "Generated Output" means everything VeykHostAgent produces using Your Materials: the HTML, CSS, written copy, design selections, page layouts, visual arrangements, and any other website content created by our AI systems for your property.

Ownership of Your Materials

You own Your Materials. The photos, text, voice recordings, property descriptions, and other information you provide to VeykHostAgent remain your property at all times. We do not claim ownership of anything you bring to the platform.

You may retrieve, copy, download, or delete Your Materials at any time while your account is active. If you close your account or your subscription ends, you may request a copy of Your Materials for up to thirty (30) days after the effective end date by emailing federation@landcgreen.ca, and we will provide them in a standard format within a reasonable time. After that thirty-day window, we will delete Your Materials from our active systems as described in the Privacy Policy.

Ownership of Generated Output

Daystrom owns the Generated Output. The websites, pages, copy, design arrangements, and other content that VeykHostAgent creates for you are works produced by Daystrom's AI systems, design infrastructure, component libraries, and proprietary technology. The Generated Output is and remains the intellectual property of Daystrom Inc.

While your active subscription is in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use, display, and publish the Generated Output solely for the purpose of marketing the specific property or properties for which it was created. This license includes the right to link to your generated site, embed it in your own marketing channels, and share it with prospective guests — that is the whole point of the product.

This license does not include the right to:

  • Copy, download, export, or extract the Generated Output (including its HTML, CSS, design assets, or written copy) for the purpose of hosting it on another platform, server, or service.
  • Modify the Generated Output outside of VeykHostAgent's own editing tools.
  • Resell, sublicense, distribute, or transfer the Generated Output to any third party.
  • Use the Generated Output as training data for any AI model or machine learning system.
  • Use the Generated Output for any property or business other than the one for which it was created.

Your license to use the Generated Output continues for as long as your subscription is active and in good standing. If your subscription lapses, is cancelled, or is terminated for any reason, your license to use the Generated Output ends, and we will take your generated sites offline within a reasonable wind-down period (not exceeding thirty days). During that wind-down period, you may reactivate your subscription to restore access. After the wind-down period, we may delete the Generated Output from our systems.

For clarity: VeykHostAgent is an ongoing service, not a one-time website generation tool. You pay a recurring subscription fee for the continued right to use, display, and benefit from the Generated Output we create and maintain for you — including ongoing AI-powered updates, SEO optimization, content management, and hosting. The Generated Output is part of the service, not a standalone deliverable.

License you give us

To operate VeykHostAgent, we need a limited license to use Your Materials. You grant Daystrom a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (only as required to generate the Generated Output and operate the service), display, transmit, and process Your Materials for the purpose of operating the service, providing it to you, and improving the service in ways that do not identify you or your properties. This license ends when you delete Your Materials or close your account, except for copies we are legally required to retain or that remain in routine backups until backup expiry.

We will not use Your Materials to train general-purpose AI models, will not sell Your Materials to third parties, and will not use Your Materials to advertise to you or anyone else. The AI subprocessors we use to generate the Generated Output (listed in the Privacy Policy) receive Your Materials only to produce the output, under contractual terms that prohibit them from retaining it for their own model training.

Ownership of the platform

We own VeykHostAgent. All core technology, software, design systems, component libraries, AI prompting, training data curation, template archetypes, and infrastructure that make VeykHostAgent work are the property of Daystrom Inc. or its licensors. Daystrom Inc. licenses this core technology exclusively to the VeykHostAgent vertical for use in the vacation rental category. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of this intellectual property to you.

You may not:

  • Copy, reverse-engineer, or attempt to reconstruct the VeykHostAgent builder, its AI pipeline, or its underlying design system.
  • Use any Generated Output or platform component as training data for another AI model, or to train or fine-tune any machine learning system.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the VeykHostAgent service itself or any Generated Output.
  • Use any Daystrom or VeykHostAgent name, logo, or trademark without our prior written permission, except to identify that your website was built with VeykHostAgent if you choose to do so.
  • Extract, scrape, or systematically download any Generated Output from VeykHostAgent for use outside the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use VeykHostAgent to:

  • Create a website for a property you do not own, manage, or have explicit authorization to market.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Generate content that is false, deceptive, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, harassing, or that infringes any third party's intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
  • Generate content that promotes illegal activity, violates applicable laws, or is intended to harm minors in any way.
  • Upload photos, text, or voice recordings that you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to disrupt, compromise, or circumvent the security of the service, including by probing for vulnerabilities, scraping at excessive rates, bypassing rate limits, or accessing any account or data not belonging to you.
  • Use the service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications.
  • Use the service for any purpose that is unlawful under Canadian law, the laws of your jurisdiction, or the laws of any jurisdiction where the generated website is hosted or accessed.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, agents) to access VeykHostAgent in ways that we have not authorized, other than standard search engine crawlers indexing publicly accessible pages.

We reserve the right to review any content generated or hosted through VeykHostAgent and to remove content that violates these Terms. We do not pre-screen content, but we may investigate reports of violations and take action in our sole discretion.

Beta disclaimer

VeykHostAgent is a private beta product. That means:

  • The service is provided free of charge during beta. Pricing for the post-beta service has not been finalized. Beta users will be grandfathered into a pricing plan to be announced when beta closes; the specific terms of that plan will be published separately.
  • Features may break, change, or be removed without notice. We are actively developing the product. Bugs, outages, data loss, and regressions are possible. We will work to fix them, but we do not promise an uptime guarantee, a feature roadmap, or backward compatibility during beta.
  • Beta content may be reviewed by us. To improve the product, we may look at anonymized builder sessions, error logs, and product analytics as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not share identifying information with anyone outside Daystrom's subprocessors.
  • Data loss risk. We run backups, but we cannot guarantee recovery in every failure mode during beta. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of Your Materials (photos, property descriptions, and other information you provided). We will work to restore Generated Output in the event of data loss, but we cannot guarantee recovery in every failure mode.
  • Beta may end. We may end or restructure beta at any time. If we do, we will give active users at least 30 days' notice by email and provide an opportunity to retrieve Your Materials before any bulk deletion. Generated Output will remain available during the notice period and will transition to the post-beta terms we announce at that time.

No warranty

VeykHostAgent is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Daystrom disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will meet your specific requirements.
  • The service will be available without interruption, secure, or free of errors or vulnerabilities.
  • Any errors, defects, or inaccuracies in the service will be corrected.
  • The websites generated by VeykHostAgent will rank, convert, or perform in any particular way in search engines, AI-based answer engines, or any other surface.
  • The AI-generated content is free of factual errors, stylistic errors, or content that requires human review before publication. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before deploying it publicly.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you. In that case, the warranties are disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Daystrom, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, or suppliers be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, revenue, use, business opportunity, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use VeykHostAgent, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability for any direct damages arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of VeykHostAgent is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (which during beta is zero), or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, including contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other theory, and regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daystrom and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your Content, including any claim that Your Content infringes a third party's intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
  • Your use of VeykHostAgent in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
  • The websites you deploy using VeykHostAgent, including any claims by guests, visitors, or regulators arising from content, accuracy, accessibility, or compliance issues in those websites.
  • Your violation of any third party's rights.

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of the claim.

Termination

You may stop using VeykHostAgent at any time. You may delete your account by contacting us at federation@landcgreen.ca, and we will process the deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to VeykHostAgent, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if your use of the service creates a risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if we cease offering the service. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to retrieve Your Materials before termination.

Upon termination or cancellation of your account for any reason: (a) your license to use the Generated Output ends immediately, subject to the thirty-day wind-down period described in the Ownership of Generated Output section; (b) we will take your generated sites offline within that wind-down period; (c) you may request a copy of Your Materials within thirty days of the effective termination date; and (d) after the wind-down period, we may delete both Your Materials and the Generated Output from our active systems, subject to any legal retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive — including Ownership of Generated Output, Ownership of the platform, License you give us (to the extent of legally required retention), No warranty, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Governing law, and Dispute resolution.

Modifications to the service and to these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of VeykHostAgent at any time. For material changes that reduce functionality or change billing terms, we will provide reasonable notice to active account holders.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes — especially changes that affect how we use Your Content, how liability is allocated, or how disputes are resolved — we will also notify active account holders by email and give you an opportunity to stop using the service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after a material change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms and your use of VeykHostAgent are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Dispute resolution

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at federation@landcgreen.ca and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will do the same. Most disputes can be resolved this way.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Daystrom agree that any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of VeykHostAgent will be brought exclusively in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. You and Daystrom each waive any right to a jury trial and any right to bring a claim as a class representative or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or to enforce the acceptable use obligations of these Terms.

Export controls and sanctions

You represent and warrant that you are not located in, and are not a national or resident of, any country subject to comprehensive Canadian or U.S. sanctions, and that you are not on any Canadian or U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.

Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies we post, constitute the entire agreement between you and Daystrom regarding VeykHostAgent and supersede any prior agreements.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision. A waiver in one instance is not a waiver in any future instance.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to our obligations under the Privacy Policy.
  • No agency. These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Daystrom.
  • Notices. We may provide notices to you by email to the address on your account or by posting on the service. You may provide notices to us by email to federation@landcgreen.ca.
  • Language. These Terms are drafted in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails in case of conflict.
